Don received his nursing degree from the Franciscan School of Nursing in 1975, a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Degree in Health Administration in 1986 and his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in 1996. He has been involved in various clinical, management and academic positions including Emergency Department charge nurse in a level II trauma center as well as Director of a nationally-recognized, university-based, EMS training center.
Don has presented continuing medical education programs in 32 states and 3 foreign countries. He has consulted with Japanese, Chinese, Israeli and Palestinian leaders; assisting in the development of their emergency medical services systems.
