Dr. Kuhlmann received his medical degree from the University of Iowa in 1977. Following an internship at St. Lukes Hospital in Denver, he completed an emergency medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit in 1982. He is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Kuhlmann has practiced emergency medicine in several midwestern communities, serving as medical director and staff physician. He is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is trained and certified by the American Heart Association as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor.
Dr. Kuhlmann has served as Clinical Associate in a family practice residency program and is an experienced Emergency Department Medical Director.
